July 4th TdF COM Arlington Bicycles, Inc. celebration

BicyclesIncLogoRoundHere is a reminder to make your plans to attend the annual TdF COM special celebration at Bicycles, Inc. in Arlington.

July is where we honor and celebrate the greatest bicycle race of all, the Tour de France (TdF).  The TdF begins this year on the same day, July 4th, with the individual Time Trial.

GoPro will be taping the event and be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions about their products.

We frequently have well over 200 cyclists that participate in the July COM.

Several charities will be participating (donations gladly accepted) and we often have local politicians who ride with us, that have included Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and Sheri Capehart from the Arlington City Council.

Here is the schedule of events:

•    0645 – Doors Open
•    0700 – 0745 French-style breakfast (Eggs, meat, fruit and Nutella crepes, Starbuck’s French Roast coffee, etc.)
•    0750 – Announcements and Recognition of Frequent COM Riders
•    0755 – Greeting by local politicians and participating charities
•    0800 – Ride Starts – staggered by distance and pace
•    1030 – Lunch begins

No charge for this event, compliments of Bicycles, Inc.

The ride departs from the store located at 5739 SW Green Oaks Blvd, 817-572-9922, http://www.bicyclesinc.com ) with routes of 12, 23, 42, 61, 81, and 102 miles and maps are provided.

Emergency sag support will be available.

Seating is limited so please think about bringing a chair to make eating and socializing more comfortable.

This ride is ideal for bringing family and friends who may want to ride just a few miles to see what it is all about.  The short 12 mile route stays in the neighborhood with very light traffic.
